If you are trying to add a new email for a user, bur Inflyte is rejecting the update. It's usually because the user has merged the address to their Inflyte account.

Inflyte allows users to merge legacy email addresses with their account. This ensures they continue receiving emails sent to their old address, directly to their Inflyte account.

Users typically have one active email on their account, ensuring Inflyte always has their most up-to-date contact details.

Clients cannot change a user’s email address on their behalf.

Only users can update their email addresses for legal, privacy, and GDPR compliance reasons.

If a user has merged a legacy email, any emails sent to that address will still reach them through their active email.

The address you see on screen is usually the only active address for the user.
